I did not go back. Management was not interested in other people's comments or opinions. I saw volunteers let go because they asked questions or made suggestions. How do you do that to volunteers who want to show up and make a difference?
Unfortunately, I don't know the rest of his story, but it didn't stop me from helping at other rescues, which I still do. Three of the four horses in my own herd are from rescues.
