I always read my stories and articles to my husband before I hit the publish button. I asked him if I should give it a "Kleenex Alert". I have cried every time I read this story. I was walking along the track a few days ago when Dee's presence seemed to envelope me. So I thought I would share her story here.
Things happen in life that are sometimes beyond our control. Though our time together was short, that time was precious. The longer our time on Mother Earth grows it seems that our time with nearly every soul is short. It helps us to realize that our words and actions should be carefully and mindfully expressed throughout the journey. Thanks for the comments.

Cried reading this….such a sad ending for a beautiful filly.
Sad story. But she was loved.
